Feel at home

Supported independent living

Practical support with your daily routine, personal care and meals, built around the way you want to live.

Live life on your terms, with the right help in place.

Your home should be a place where you feel comfortable and in control. Whether you need 24/7 care or occasional drop-in support, we work with you to create a setup that feels safe, comfortable and right for your daily routine.

You will have support with daily tasks, personal care, meal preparation and more, from staff who are trained specifically for your needs. We take care in matching you with the right team, so your home feels calm, familiar and consistent.

How we can help

  • Personal care and everyday routines
  • Meal preparation and household tasks
  • Medication support guided by your plan
  • Getting to appointments, activities and social events
  • Support workers matched to your needs and preferences
  • A support arrangement discussed with you and your support network

Good to know

How supported independent living works with us.

Around the clock or drop-in

Support can be in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or at the times of day you need it.

A team you get to know

We directly employ our support workers and share staff profiles before services begin, so you know who is coming and why.

Shared or individual support

We work with support arrangements from 1:1 through to 1:3. Tell us what is funded in your plan and we will talk through what suits.

Planning your support

It helps to tell us about

  • Your usual day, and the parts you would like more support with
  • Who you would like to live with, or whether you prefer to live alone
  • The suburb or area you want to live in
  • How you like to communicate and what helps you feel at ease
  • The people and plans already in place

Common questions

Can I be involved in choosing my support workers?

Yes, and we encourage it. You can review support worker profiles before anyone starts. We match on your clinical needs, personality, routines and preferences. If there is someone you would prefer not to work with, we will listen and act on it.

What if my situation changes after support has started?

We revisit your goals and support requirements with you and adjust your team or plan to suit. That could mean more hours, different types of support, or a change in how support is delivered. Because we employ our own teams, we can usually make changes quickly.
